Responsibilities

Client Advising: Provide expert advice to employers on employee benefit options and tailored solutions based on their specific needs.

Plan Evaluation: Review and assess current employee benefit plans, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and employer goals.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and open communication.

Market Research: Stay informed on the latest trends in the insurance industry to provide clients with competitive and comprehensive benefits packages.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure all proposed and existing benefit plans comply with current federal and state regulations.

Problem Solving: Address client concerns, provide solutions, and facilitate the implementation of benefit plan changes effectively.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in employee benefits consulting or a related field.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of various employee benefit plans, including health insurance, group life, and other ancillary benefits.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and consultation.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and provide clear insights and recommendations.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to offer effective solutions to clients' needs.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.

Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Licensing: Relevant insurance licenses in the state of Alaska are advantageous.
