Employee Relations Specialist
Initial Assignment Length: 9 months (will likely be extended to 12 months)
Shift/Schedule Details: Standard business hours (there is potential for overtime)
Location Specifics: Onsite at Holly Springs 4 days per week (1 day remote per week)
About the Role
We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to provide general ER support across multiple locations, with a primary focus on the Holly Springs site. This role requires deep expertise in employee relations and investigations, with a strong emphasis on face-to-face interaction and customer service.
Responsibilities
Manage 25–40 ER cases per week, including sensitive matters such as harassment, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations issues.
Triage cases by urgency, prioritizing critical issues (e.g., workplace safety threats).
Partner with employees and managers to resolve ER concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
Utilize ServiceNow and NAVEX EthicsPoint for case tracking and documentation.
Collaborate with peers via Teams and shared resources for ongoing support.
Participate in a robust 1-month training program during ramp-up.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven expertise in employee relations and workplace investigations.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, especially in face-to-face settings.
Ability to manage a high caseload (25–40 cases/week) with professionalism and discretion.
Experience handling sensitive and complex ER issues.
Familiarity with case management systems (ServiceNow, NAVEX EthicsPoint preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Generalist HR knowledge to complement ER specialization.
Demonstrated ability to maintain resilience and self-care in emotionally demanding situations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with peers.
Work Setup
On-site at Holly Springs with one flexible remote day per week (based on desk availability).
