The anticpated pay range is approximately up to $110,000, will vary depending on experience.
Job Summary
Looking for someone that can leads day-to-day delivery of centralized HRService Employee Relations services. Manage complex ER cases and investigations, provide consultative guidance to leaders and HRBPs, and translate teammates listening and case trends into practical action plans and engagement action plans. Have an understanding and experience with California Laws. Ensures consistent documentation standards, and partners with Legal/Compliance on sensitive matters.
Core Responsibilities
Manage ER intake/triage, and workflow to meet service levels and timelines.
Lead complex investigations end-to-end; ensure neutrality, thorough evidence assessment, and clear written outcomes.
Advise leaders and HRBPs on policy interpretation, conflict resolution, performance management, corrective action, and terminations.
Identify trends from casework and survey/listening data; recommend prioritized action plans and track execution and impact.
Partner with Legal/Compliance on high-risk matters; ensure appropriate escalation and aligned remediation.
Support and quality-review separation documentation/packets; ensure consistency, completeness, and compliance to protocol.
Design/deliver ER training and leader toolkits (or partner with L&D) based on recurring themes and capability gaps.
Maintain case file integrity and audit-ready documentation in HR systems, drive documentation discipline across the team.
Develop scalable ER mechanisms (templates, standard work, knowledge articles) to improve consistency and efficiency.
Prepare metrics and narratives for monthly/quarterly business reviews; communicate insights to varied audiences.
Balance initiative-taking with time-sensitive escalations; respond quickly when urgent issues arise.

Qualifying Experience
Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
9 or more years of related Human Resources experience
Experience with CA Laws strongly preferred
1 or more years of HR leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people management experience
SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR certifications highly preferred
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements
