Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated legal professional to add to our high-energy legal team in order to serve clients facing stressful legal matters throughout the state of West Virginia. This position can be based out of the Clarksburg or Morgantown locations.

Compensation- $100,000 - $180,000 yearly Compensation including a base with a structured Bonus Plan and Benefits

Compensation:

$100,000 - $180,000 yearly Base Plus Bonus

Responsibilities:

Creating case strategies and plans for successful outcomes in a variety of employment and personal injury matters
Conduct and defend depositions of lay witnesses and experts
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and jury trials
Draft complex pleadings
Manage case files, track progress, and manage deadlines
Communicate regularly with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law in West Virginia
Ability to build strong client relationships
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident and calm in high-pressure situations
Ability to be empathetic and compassionate while providing aggressive representation
Experience with motion practice and depositions
Experience representing clients in mediations
Willingness to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
Prior experience representing Plaintiffs and/or at least three years of litigation experience
