Job Description
Experienced Employment Law Paralegal
Setareh Law Group | Plaintiff-Side Employment Law
Setareh Law Group is seeking an experienced paralegal to support its plaintiff-side employment litigation practice. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with wage and hour, wrongful termination, and PAGA matters in California state and federal courts.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with employment cases from intake through resolution or trial.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, motions, and court filings.
- Organize and review documents, employment records, and damages information.
- Track deadlines, coordinate depositions and hearings, and maintain case files.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
- Support settlement preparation, mediation, and trial.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience as an employment litigation paralegal, preferably in a plaintiff-side practice.
- Experience with wage and hour, wrongful termination, and PAGA cases.
- Familiarity with filing procedures and litigation deadlines in California state and federal courts.
- Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work closely with attorneys and legal staff.
- Meets California’s qualifications for work as a paralegal.
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
