A healthcare organization in Rutland is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certifiable or Board Certified Endocrinologist to join a collaborative team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances
Develop individualized treatment plans and manage long-term patient care
Interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies related to endocrine conditions
Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical programs

Requirements

General Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program
Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license
Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing complex endocrine disorders
