About the Opportunity:
Gastro Health is seeking a part-time LPN to join our outpatient endoscopy center in Liberty Township, OH. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will educate patients, document procedures, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
As an Endoscopy LPN with Gastro Health, you will:
- Assist the physicians to provide direct patient care for colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures
- Completion of admission assessments
- Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
- Preparation for discharging patients
- Post-anesthesia care
Compensation and schedule:
- Competitive hourly rate
- 3 days per week, no nights or weekends
Candidate Requirements:
- Current Ohio LPN license (required)
- Minimum 1 years of LPN experience preferred, but new grads welcome
- Recovery room experience a plus
- IV skills are a plus
- BLS and ACLS required
