About the Opportunity:
Gastro Health is seeking a per diem RN to join our outpatient endoscopy center in Hialeah, Florida. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will educate patients, document procedures, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
As an Endoscopy RN with Gastro Health, you will:
- Assist the physicians to provide direct patient care for colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures
- Completion of admission assessments
- Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
- Preparation for discharging patients
- Post-anesthesia care
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive per diem hourly rate
- Flexible scheduling to support work–life balance
- Center is open Monday-Friday with one Saturday per month
- Hours 7AM to 3-4PM
- Eligible for retirement plan enrollment and employer contributions upon completion of 1,000 hours of work during the first year of employment
Candidate Requirements:
- Current Florida RN license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred, but new grads are welcome
- Recovery room experience a plus
- IV skills are a plus
- BLS and ACLS required
