JOB SUMMARY

​​​The Field TechnicianIIis responsible forinstallations, service and inspectionsand/orconductingenergyauditsand assessmentstoestablishbaseline energy use and recommend energy saving practices and measures.This positionis responsible foreducating customers on their usage, installingenergy-saving/safetymeasuresand recommendingenergy saving practices to customers.

ESSENTIALDUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES​​

  • Conduct detailed audits,assessments, and work ordersassigned daily as scheduledasspecified inprogram contractsand technical specifications

  • Identifypotential conservation measuresandsavings potential andthenrecommendtheappropriateenergyefficient technologies.

  • Provide customers with education sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures.

  • Perform diagnostic testing, install programmeasuresand perform minor repairs asappropriatebasedonprogramspecifications

  • Manage supplied inventory materials and company issued equipment.

  • Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers at all times, while providinga high levelof customer service and education for each service orinstallation performed.

  • Support job site preparation and clean-up,maintaininga clean and organized work area. Ensure customer property is treated with care and left in equal or better condition than it was found.

  • Immediately communicate all existing and potential customer service issues toimmediatesupervisorto ensure prompt resolution

  • Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS& QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.Associate’s Degreeaplus

  • Relevant industry certifications as required by theprogramrequired.

  • 1-3 years' construction or industry experience preferred.Energy industry experiencea plus.

  • Strong communication, both verbal and written,and relationship-building skills.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, staff, supervisors, contractors, and clients.

  • ​​​Strong attention to detailwhilemaintainingaccuratedocumentation. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentand adapt to change when needed.

  • ​​Abilitytoworka flexible schedule. 

  • Proven ability towork well independently and as a team andmeetobjectives.

  • Validdriver’s license,and use of personal vehicle may be necessary, to travel to client locations.Compliance with acceptable vehicle insurance levels as outlined in the company policy.

  • Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT &PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • ​​Physically active position which includes climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, talking,hearingand using repetitive motion. 

  • Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordinationenablingthe use of automated office machinery, such as a computer.

  • Oral and auditory capacityenablinginterpersonal communication as well ascommunication through automated devices such as the telephone. 

  • Visual capacity enabling frequent use of computer equipment,operatinga motorvehicleand/or heavy equipment.

  • Heavy work: ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of forcefrequentlyand/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwisemove objects.

  • Indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. This may or may not include extreme cold temperatures below 32 degrees and extreme heat above 100 degrees. 

  • Atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust,gasesor poor ventilation. 

  • Hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, exposure to chemicals, exposure to oscillatingmovementsand working in high places. 

  • Frequent close quarters such as crawl spaces, shafts, small rooms, narrowaislesor other areas that could cause claustrophobia

Pay Range:

$45,300.00 - $61,230.00

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, certifications, etc.
