Position Summary
Trinity Life Sciences is seeking an Engagement Manager or Associate Director to join the fast-growing health outcomes research team. This mid-level research position will lead all phases of primary and secondary data research projects in support of health outcomes and larger consulting engagements.
Essential Functions
Project Management: Lead all phases of research project and analysis, including questionnaire and discussion guide design, data collection oversight (US and ex-US), primary and secondary data management, analysis and presentation development, staff assignments and coordination of tasks, etc. Collaborate on consulting projects as assigned and as needed.
Client Management: Manage client relationships and serve as the point of contact. Aid in proposal development and study design.
Business Management: Identify sales opportunities with existing clients.
People Management: Manage, mentor and develop assigned staff.
Others:
Serve as a point of contact on health outcomes research-related inquiries by internal and external parties
Promote the health outcomes research expertise internally
Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Advanced degree required. PhD in Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Outcomes Research, Public Health, Health Policy, or Health Services Research preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of health outcomes or public health research experience
Hands-on experience with designing observational and experimental studies, designing questionnaires, data management, data analysis and creation of MS PowerPoint and MS Word reports related to health outcomes research or public health
At least 3 years of project and people management experience required
Other Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed knowledge of a wide range of health outcomes or public health research methodologies (observational and experimental)
Knowledge/experience in a broad range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies e.g., burden of illness studies, choice experiments, cohort studies, case-control studies, use and development of patient reported outcomes scales, prospective studies etc.
Experience in leading / supporting publication efforts (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, etc.)
Well versed in life sciences industry including global healthcare systems
Advanced computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Q)
Strong study design skills
Strong survey / discussion guide writing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong data visualization and slide development skills
Solid business acumen and marketing orientation
Strong work ethic with a desire to exceed expectations
Demonstrated ability to multi-task across multiple projects and teams

Trinity's salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is a minimum of $160,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
