The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering Team.
The qualified candidate will be primarily responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating existing plant layouts.
- Designing future layout improvements based on Manufacturing requirements.
- Managing various projects including:
- Infrastructure system improvements
- Building demolitions
- Manufacturing cell relocations
- Future expansion site planning
- Installation/relocation of machines
- Coordinating various contractors performing work on site, and communicating project goals and expectations.
- Coordinating inspections and preventative maintenance of building life-safety systems and other various equipment.
- Overseeing handling and disposal of chemicals and waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous.
- Assist in EPA audits and internal record keeping, ensuring company compliance.
- Working closely with executive leadership and other functional groups to maintain schedule and budget.
- Utilization of MS Office tools to present and track project status.
- Other technical, physical, and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Systems Engineering.
- An in-depth understanding of building infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing).
- Proficient with CAD and drafting software such as AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Siemens NX is a plus.
- Strong ability to read and interpret building drawings and machine specifications at an advanced level.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Prior construction or manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building code, OSHA, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, DOT, and UDEQ).
- PMP or other project management certification.
U.S. citizenship is required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
