Job Description

Job Title: Engineer Product I - Product Verification & Validation Location: Horicon, WI

Salary Range: $35 - $40/hour

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Planning and Reliability Engineer in the Product Verification & Validation (PVV) Department. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing and validation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent knowledge.
Technical experience with development and/or verification testing of products.
Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Demonstration of being a self-directed individual with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with data analysis and/or product verification/validation testing.
Knowledge of Riding Lawn Equipment and their applications.
Experience with systematic corrective action processes (PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, etc.).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans and processes for the Riding Lawn Equipment PVV Department.
Plan and coordinate testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity.
Lead and execute comprehensive PV&V plans encompassing virtual analysis, laboratory testing, and field validation.
Coordinate, assign, and review work done by PV&V engineers, lab technicians, and mechanics for evaluation of machine performance/reliability to product specifications.
Provide technical support to marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply management functional areas.
