A-Line Staffing is now hiring Engineering Intern in Columbus, NE . The Engineering Intern would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Engineering Intern HighlightsThis position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 1st shift (start time flexible 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM), 8-hour shifts
Background check required (no drug test required)
Internship duration minimum of 8 continuous weeks
Engineering Intern Responsibilities- Provide support in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Work with a mentor on engineering project assignments aligned with academic background
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world manufacturing and engineering applications
- Support process, production, or project engineering initiatives
- Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, safety regulations, and company policies
- Participate in additional duties to support business needs
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Currently pursuing or enrolled in an Engineering degree program
- Completed at least sophomore year preferred
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 continuous weeks
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
- SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience preferred
- Exposure to fabrication, automation, or industrial environments
- Strong interest in manufacturing or production engineering
- Hands-on mechanical or technical aptitude
