Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Process engineering changesParticipate in Continuous Improvement projects as par of a cross functional teamTool designTime studies on the floorProject management, creating milestones, and project plansEntering/updating of data in ERP system (item cards, BOM, part routings).Perform all tasks in accordance with company Engineering policiesComplete internship projects and present findings to leadershipPerform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to schedule and organize time and tasks effectivelyAbility to work in a challenging and schedule driven environmentStrong CAD solid modeling knowledge (NX or Solidworks)Basic understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, turning, milling)Working knowledge of Lean concepts (Toyota Production System).Basic understanding of part measuring techniques (calipers, micrometers, verniers, and indicators)Ability to work with others within a cross functional team.Self-motivated and driven (take a project and run with it).

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED requiredCurrently enrolled in an accredited college/university in Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferably Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
