Drive reductions in equipment downtime and maintenance-related costs. Determine appropriate staffing levels, skill development, and technical training programs. Take a hands-on leadership approach with equipment troubleshooting and repairs as needed. Champion process improvements and support implementation of new manufacturing processes. Manage and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Foster a high-performance culture with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute engineering strategies that support plant and organizational goals. Identify and implement innovative technical solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Evaluate existing processes and drive ongoing improvements to optimize workflows and performance.The Successful ApplicantA strong background in engineering and maintenance. Bachelors degree in engineering. Background in leading lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Experience in budget management and cost optimization.
