Engineering Manager

The Role:

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow two teams of engineers responsible for 2 of Arketa’s 4 core product lines. This is a highly impactful role where you’ll balance leadership and technical guidance, working closely with Product and Design to deliver features that directly shape the future of wellness.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers working across 2 product lines.

• Partner with Product and Design leadership to define strategy, goals, and roadmaps.

• Drive technical excellence through architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices.

• Ensure on-time delivery of features while balancing quality, scalability, and speed.

• Collaborate with other engineering managers to align technical direction across all product lines.

• Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and growing top engineering talent.

• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering management.

• Experience leading teams that own multiple product areas or lines.

• Strong technical background with familiarity in modern web technologies (Rails, React, Node, or similar).

• Proven track record of shipping customer-facing products at scale.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design.

• Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.

For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $190,000–$240,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
