Engineering Manager

Our client is a global industrial technology organization that develops highly engineered sensing, measurement, and control solutions used in demanding applications around the world. Its products support critical industries including aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing, medical technology, industrial automation, and defense.

Job Description

This Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

Leading product discovery efforts from opportunity identification through concept maturity
Translating customer and market needs into product requirements and technical specifications
Evaluating emerging technologies and determining feasibility of new product concepts
Driving experimentation, prototyping, testing, and technical risk reduction activities
Developing product architectures and guiding multidisciplinary engineering decisions
Building and mentoring a team of experienced engineering professionals while fostering technical excellence

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Engineering Manager will have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
Experience leading engineering teams or technical organizations
Strong background in complex electromechanical, sensing, instrumentation, or embedded products
Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and product concepts
Experience with technology evaluation, prototyping, and early-stage product development
Strong systems-level and architectural thinking skills
Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication abilities
Experience collaborating with product management and engineering stakeholders
