Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Manager (Manufacturing Operations)

Summary: Join a growing Connecticut-based manufacturer delivering innovative industrial packaging and storage solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role where you"ll drive engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team while driving accountability, performance, and alignment with company goals Provide hands-on technical leadership across fabrication, welding, stamping, automation, and finishing operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, cost reduction) to increase efficiency and reduce waste Manage engineering projects, capital equipment implementation, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple sites

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor"s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field) 5-10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with prior leadership responsibility Strong expertise in troubleshooting, process optimization, and production support within industrial settings Experience with automation, robotics, and continuous improvement methodologies

Preferred Skills & Experience: Background in metal fabrication, stamping, or welding processes Experience with EOS frameworks and/or Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt a plus)

Compensation:$130,000 - $150,000 + comprehensive benefits package
