Job Description
Do you have 5+ years of Program/Project Management experience along with a background as a software engineer? Does some of your background include working for a small engineering firm or company with less than 250 employees? Are you a strong leader who thrives wearing many hats to lead all engineering programs, strategy, planning & execution along with leading a team? If so, this role could elevate your career!In this direct hire, hybrid, Engineering Program Manager you will lead engineering programs and grow client accounts, including all program phases, lead the engineering team, and manage client satisfaction. You will also look for new business opportunities with existing clients, manage project budgets, and make sure technical work is delivered on time.Why the Company & Position?

- Location: Hybrid in North Phoenix, AZ (Onsite Thursday & every other Wednesday)
- 9-hour work days with every other FRIDAY OFF
- Client & Sales: Manage client relations, solve project issues, and find new ways to grow revenue with existing accounts.
- Team Leadership: Interview, hire, and coach engineering team members while balancing project workloads.
- Project Execution: Set project goals, manage risks, and balance quality, cost, and deadlines using data.
- Financials: Create project budgets, handle contract pricing, and track financial performance.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a technical field
- MBA is a Plus
- PMP is a Plus
- You bring Strong Communication & Leadership skills and are highly organized & detail-oriented.
- 5+ years of Program/Project Management experience overseeing projects with 5 or more team members
- 5+ years of experience finding client opportunities, generating orders, and executing them.
- MUST have a 2-3 years of small engineering firm experience & will wear many hats in this position
- MUST have experience as an engineer (software/embedded preferred)
- MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder to be considered.
