Job Description

Corrpro Companies is looking for a Project Coordinator with engineering project experience.

Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies.  Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

  • 2 years of project coordination experience with oil, gas, utility or construction projects, or 5 years of logistics and planning experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail are imperative to success in this position

  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and be able to adjust to dynamic situations

  • Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, client customer portal, and Internet databases

  • Oracle’s JD Edwards or other ERP experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure optimum project efficiency and profitability on all projects

  • Communicate schedule recommendations to management staff, sales and the customers

  • Complete logistical coordination for all aspects (materials, equipment & subcontractors) of local operation

  • Assist with coordination and preparation of submittals, materials and training needed for projects based on provided specifications and customer needs

  • Manage projects by ordering materials, providing necessary documentation to field staff for job start

  • Coordinate and maintain the project schedule

  • Maintain project management database; generate reports to track job costs

  • Estimate labor, equipment, and tools needed for projects

  • Review contract or delivery order and its specifications of work

  • Initiate and recommend solutions to problems relating to the product, process and quality systems
