Job Description

We’re partnered with a long‑established pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking a hands‑on Engineering Project Manager to lead capital projects in a cGMP API manufacturing environment. This is not a coordinator role. The ideal candidate is a technical subject matter expert who personally diagnoses problems, makes design decisions, and owns projects end‑to‑end — not someone who relies on consultants to do the technical thinking.What you’ll do:

Own $1MM+ capital projects from scope/URS through design, construction, commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ, and validated turnover
Act as the technical authority for process, facility, and utility systems
Support new product scale‑up and capacity expansions
Troubleshoot and improve systems in an aging, complex GMP facility
Drive work through change control, CQV, and structured problem‑solving

Must‑have background:

5+ years in pharma, biologics, or FDA‑regulated manufacturing
Hands‑on CQV experience (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ)
Capital project ownership (not just participation)
Experience with process & clean utilities (WFI/RO, clean steam, HVAC, etc.)
B.S. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering strongly preferred
