The Impact You'll MakeDanfoss in Van Wert, OH is seeking an Engineering Technician. In this role, you will be essential in supporting a growing product line used in data centers, playing a critical part in cooling systems that ensure their continuous operation. You will contribute significantly to launching new equipment, supporting existing systems, and managing processes to meet customer demand and maintain quality standards. You will collaborate with the Van Wert, OH Adapters Assembly, Metal Finishing teams, and other Danfoss plants, taking ownership of PFMEAs, testers, and assembly equipment to drive innovation and efficiency.What You'll Be DoingSupport production equipment, working with Process Techs to fix and improve existing equipment. (Inspection Camera, Date Code Printers, Tooling, Robots, etc.) As well as improving productivity through root cause problem solving as well as continuous improvement.Lead teams to proactively reduce process variation using 8D, Six Sigma and other problem-solving toolsCreate and update process documentation including FMEA, control plan, job instructionsLead acquisition projects for new equipment on simple projects and assist with the complex capital projects.Provide support for new products and process launches through participation in IPPAP's, capability studies, document control, FMEA's, etc.What We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GED, some college or working towards a technical degree is a plus.Experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong ability to deliver resultsDemonstrated technical ability, proven communication skills (verbal & written), able to plan and organize effectively, self-motivated, dependable.Competent in the creation of FMEA, Control Plans, Job Instructions, 8D's or an ability and willingness to learn.A mindset for problem-solving / continuous improvement / collaborationWhat You'll Get from Us
