Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret drawings, prints and/or sketches to determine necessary information needed to convert to digital format.
- Convert drawings to electronic and digital format using CAD and or business engineering systems.
- Follow recommended standard procedures, revision identification and naming nomenclature for drawings.
- Responsible for filing original documents as required.
- May assist in other support activities in the Engineering Department of other functions.
- Any/all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude (depending on discipline).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with tools, measurement equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pursuing degree in relevant discipline (mechanical engineering, applications etc.)
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT
Desired
- A or B.S in Mechanical Engineering
