Job Description
As an Engineering Technician, you play an essential role by performing electrical testing of analog electronic circuits and work with Electronic Engineers to conduct qualification and design verification testing of new and existing products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
- One to two years of relevant experience.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Electronic test techniques and equipment
• Knowledge of DC, AC, and analog circuits is a must
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Microsoft Office Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.

SALARY RANGE
The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $26.00 to $30.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
