Position Summary
The Enhancements Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing enhancements projects for commercial, municipal, and high-end residential clients. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Ed Castro Landscape quality standards.
The position requires strong leadership, organizational, communication, and operational planning skills, along with hands-on experience in landscape installation and enhancement services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and coordinate enhancement and installation projects.
Manage multiple crews and daily production schedules.
Ensure crews are equipped with materials, tools, and equipment required for each project.
Conduct on-site visits to support crews, coordinate deliveries, and address operational needs.
Prepare teams for next-day production schedules.
Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Designers, and Operations leadership.
Review sold work orders and confirm scope, timeline, and expectations.
Coordinate plant and material orders with Production/Purchasing.
Monitor job budgets including labor hours and material costs.
Maintain accurate documentation including timesheets, Aspire Crew Mobile, and inventory releases.
Attend weekly production and scheduling meetings.
Support pre-construction planning and project execution.
Ensure quality control and client satisfaction.
Manage employee attendance, PTO requests, and field personnel issues.
Provide training, coaching, and leadership to field employees.
Make operational decisions regarding weather delays and scheduling adjustments.
Sign off on completed work upon verification of project quality and client expectations.
Produce job completion reports upon successful job closeout to send to Sales Managers/Account Managers
Required Qualifications
Experience in landscape installation, enhancement, or horticulture operations
Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant material, and installation practices
Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing commercial and/or residential landscape enhancement projects
Knowledge of landscape design plans and specifications
Experience with production scheduling systems or field management software
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to walk job sites and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
