Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Enrichment/Music instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and leading engaging music classes and activities for participants of all ages. This individual will create a fun and educational environment that promotes a love for music and enriches the lives of our community members.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Music, Education, or related field preferred.- Proven experience in teaching music to individuals or groups.- Strong knowledge of musical theory and various musical genres.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.- Passion for music and the ability to inspire and motivate others.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement music lesson plans and curriculum that cater to the diverse needs of participants.- Instruct students on music fundamentals, techniques, and skills development.- Organize and supervise music-related events, performances, and showcases.- Monitor and assess participant progress, providing feedback and support as needed.- Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.- Stay current on music trends, teaching methodologies, and best practices in music education.Additional Requirements:- Certification in music education or a related field is a plus.- Experience working with diverse populations and age groups is preferred.- Ability to play multiple musical instruments is an advantage.- Willingness to undergo a background check, as required.
