Job Summary
The Enrollment Marketing and Communications Manager advances the University's recruitment and enrollment objectives by leading prospective student communications, coordinating recruitment initiatives and events, managing the campus visit experience, and maintaining admissions-related web content. This role collaborates closely with the Office of Enrollment Services (OES), Marketing, and recruitment staff to ensure aligned messaging, proactive outreach, and a seamless, student-centered experience from initial inquiry through enrollment.
Job Description
50% - Communications
Oversee and manage the communication strategy for prospective students across the full enrollment funnel.
Design and implement targeted communication plans for segmented audiences.
Draft, schedule, and deploy communications through Salesforce TargetX.
Generate and segment prospect lists within Salesforce TargetX to support targeted outreach.
Track and analyze prospect engagement and activity throughout the communication cycle.
Coordinate the procurement and distribution of recruitment materials.
Manage direct mail initiatives, including timelines, audience segmentation, and budget oversight.
Maintain Admissions social media platforms in partnership with the Marketing Social Media Manager.
30% - Events
Coordinate and execute recruitment and enrollment events (on-campus and off-campus).
Manage event logistics including planning, promotion, registration tracking, materials preparation, and follow-up communications.
Collaborate with campus partners to ensure successful event execution.
10% - Campus Tours
Manage and enhance the campus visit and tour experience.
Train and support staff and student ambassadors who conduct campus tours.
Update tour presentations and recruitment materials as needed.
Maintain the campus visit calendar and tour scheduling system.
10% - Web Updates and other duties
Review and update admissions and recruitment webpages to ensure accurate and timely information.
Maintain priority deadlines and key admissions content.
Assist with minor website updates, including maintaining the event calendar.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support departmental and university goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, etc.
Experience managing CRM and CMS platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written communication skills.
Occasional local and regional travel will be required.
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced degree.
Experience working in higher education enrollment or marketing.
Experience with Salesforce Target X.
Experience with event coordination or project management.
