Job Description
Summary of Job: You will support the Entertainment team by ensuring all shows are running efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for operating sound/light boards during performances. You will also be asked to identify and repair all malfunctioning sound and/or lighting equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Put forth best effort to present a safe, entertaining, and professional show
- Perform other duties as assigned by Six Flags Management and the Park sound/lighting technician
- Execute show in a safe manner as it was designed
- Wear appropriate uniform and behave in the manner that fits management
- Comply with all Great Escape Resort and Six Flags policies and procedures
- Provide services in a fast and safe manner
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for guests and team member
- Maintain all of the guidelines outlined in the department
- Know all the safety, emergency and evacuation procedures for the park
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
- Must possess an understanding of production sound/lighting equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Be able to handle heights
- Be able to carry and lift at least 50lbs
- Be able to work flexible hours, night, weekends and some holidays within the limits of applicable Federal, State, and facility labor laws and guidelines
Pay Rate: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
