Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Communications Assistant for an immediate start at our Charlotte, NC location. The Communications Assistant will support internal and external communication efforts by assisting with correspondence, event communications, administrative coordination, and outreach initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in communications, public relations, or business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing business correspondence, reports, and informational materials
- Support event-related communications and attendee outreach efforts
- Maintain communication records and organizational documentation
- Assist with scheduling meetings and preparing meeting materials
- Respond to inquiries and direct communications to the appropriate departments
- Support the planning and coordination of communication initiatives
- Ensure messaging remains professional, accurate, and consistent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
