Position Overview
As an Entry-Level Event Assistant, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising events for nonprofit organizations. This hands-on position allows you to:

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating community and retail fundraising events
- Manage event logistics to ensure smooth execution
- Serve as a point of contact for attendees, answering questions and providing information
- Promote nonprofit missions and encourage participation and donations
- Distribute promotional materials to raise awareness and engagement
- Track event data, including donations and sales, ensuring accuracy
- Collect attendee feedback to improve future events
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful event delivery
- Participate in training sessions to stay informed on nonprofit objectives
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence at all events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about supporting charitable causes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or sales is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event travel
