Job Description

Entry-Level HVAC Installer

Position Summary

Allied Aire, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Cornelius, NC. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the heating and air conditioning industry. You will assist lead installers with the installation of residential HVAC systems while learning the trade through hands-on training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and air handlers
  • Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC equipment
  • Carry and move tools, materials, and equipment safely
  • Loading, unloading and stocking of materials
  • Assist with installation of ductwork, thermostats, and related components
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
  • Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers
  • Learn HVAC installation procedures and best practices

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to process both written and verbal English language skills
  • No HVAC experience required - training provided
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, insurable by co. insurance carrier
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Trade school or HVAC school experience
  • Basic hand tool and ladder knowledge
  • EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation & Benefits
