Job Summary: The Entry Level Machinist role is designed for individuals interested in starting a career in precision machining. This position provides hands-on training under the guidance of experienced supervisors and machinists. The trainee will learn to set up and operate machines, monitor product quality, and understand company processes and quality standards. This role offers a strong foundation for long-term growth within the machining trade. Key Responsibilities: • Learn to set up and operate machining equipment under supervision • Monitor product quality to ensure parts meet specifications • Inspect finished parts using basic measurement tools • Follow established machining processes and quality requirements • Assist with machine adjustments and routine maintenance tasks • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area • Accurately document production and quality information as required • Follow all safety policies and manufacturing procedures • Work closely with supervisors and mentors to develop machining skills Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • Entry-level role; prior machining or manufacturing experience preferred but not required • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn • Ability to follow instructions and work procedures • Attention to detail and commitment to quality • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Working Conditions: • Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels • Standing for extended periods throughout the shift • Repetitive motion and hands-on machine operation • Use of PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection required • Exposure to machining equipment, tools, and metal materials • Clean, safety-focused, and well-organized facility About Us: At The Vision Companies, we go beyond matching skills to job descriptions.
