Opportunity: 

In partnership with state and federally funded workforce development programs, we are offering a six-month, paid On-the-Job Training opportunity for an Entry-Level Office Assistant. This temporary, non-permanent role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional office environment while supporting the development of foundational administrative and workplace skills.

This opportunity is intended for individuals early in their career who are seeking exposure to business operations, professional mentorship, and practical experience that can support future employment or continued education. Participants will work alongside experienced team members and gain insight into day-to-day office and organizational functions.

Under close supervision, the Office Assistant will support routine administrative and office operations. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assistingwith general clerical tasks, data entry, document preparation, record maintenance, scheduling support, and internal communications.

  • Participants may also provide support to assigned departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Operations, or other corporate functions, depending on business needs.

  • Throughout the program, participants will learn to follow established processes,maintainprofessionalism, and handle information with discretion.

The program is designed to support skill development in professional communication, time management, organization, attention to detail, and basic office technology. Participants will also gain exposure to workplace expectations, teamwork, and problem-solving within a manufacturing organization.

Upon completion of the six-month On-the-Job Training program, participants will leave with relevant work experience, strengthened administrative and professional skill sets, and increased readiness for their next career step. This role does not guarantee continued employment; however, the experience gained is intended to support future career opportunities.

This position is offered through a workforce development program and includes specific eligibility requirements as defined by the program partner. Eligibility will be confirmed prior tohire.The role is based on-site in a professional office environment and follows a full-time schedule for the duration of the program.
