Now Hiring: Entry-Level Upfit Technician (Apprentice Opportunity)📍 Sands Chevrolet – Glendale, Arizona
Sands Chevrolet is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Upfit Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in emergency vehicle upfitting, working alongside experienced technicians and learning the trade from the ground up.
We support a wide range of fleet accounts and build everything from commercial amber/white work trucks to full red/blue/white emergency response vehicles.

Position Overview:You’ll assist with the installation of emergency lighting, wiring, equipment mounting, and general vehicle upfitting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn a specialized trade.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of how vehicles are built and operate
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow directions and take guidance from senior technicians
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous experience in automotive, electrical, or fabrication work
- Basic 12V electrical knowledge
- Ownership of personal tools
