ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Clean patient/resident rooms daily and/or at check-out/discharge, using various cleaning chemicals and disinfectants as required.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
- Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
- Wash and make bed with clean linen.
- Collect soiled linen.
- Wash walls.
- Clean all restrooms, sink areas and fixtures.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Extract carpets as needed.
- Dust and/or mop floors.
- Collect trash and clean trash containers.
- Perform high dusting.
- Maintain daily report of rooms cleaned and submit to department supervisor.
- Clean and re-stock housekeeping cart for next day use.
- Stock supplies in utility closets.
- Maintain/clean all housekeeping equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Licenses
No professional license required.
Certifications
No professional certification required.
Experience
1-2 years related experience preferred.
WAGE RANGE: This position starts at $16.60 (plus evening shift differential) and goes up based on experience.
