Job Details

Serve as a key member of the team driving safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, plant, and corporate EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures.Support emergency response planning and Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including startup and shutdown procedures.Partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to improve employee engagement and reduce workplace risk.Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to improve workplace safety.Lead incident investigations, near miss reviews, and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).Maintain required EHS documentation and ensure all internal and external reporting is completed accurately and on time.Ensure equipment, facilities, and capital projects comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.Oversee environmental compliance activities including air permits, wastewater treatment, employee monitoring, and industrial hygiene programs.Track and report key EHS metrics while identifying opportunities for improvement.Manage EHS and compliance related projects that support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with operations leadership to support productivity, quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Title V air permitting, and wastewater treatment systems.Experience leading incident investigations and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations and their application in a manufacturing setting.Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
