  • Manage environmental permits, reporting, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory inspections.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Human Resources to integrate safety into daily processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with environmental compliance, incident investigations, and ISO 14001 required or strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, and corrective-action processes.
  • Automotive, aluminum die casting, machining, heat treatment, or other high-hazard manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • CSP, CHMM, CIH, ASP, OSHA 30-Hour General Industry, or comparable credentials preferred.
  • Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment and support multiple shifts, emergencies, and occasional off-hours requirements.
