The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group's success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a highly qualified Environmental Health & Safety Manager for our Metro New York Chilled DSD and Jersey City Warehouse to support our Manufacturing Operations to ensure the company's EHS goals and initiatives are met. The role will be responsible for providing oversite regarding technical, programmatic, and strategic development for the site's EHS program. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.

  • Lead workplace safety programs, inspections, and hazard assessments to prevent injuries and illnesses.

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental events; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste, air and water quality, and sustainability efforts.

  • Develop and deliver EHS training and emergency preparedness programs, coordinate drills and response plans.

  • Conduct EHS audits and serve as the primary liaison during regulatory inspections and inquiries.

  • Partner with operations, HR, and leadership to embed EHS best practices into daily operations.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

  • 5-7 years of progressive EHS management experience in manufacturing or other highly regulated environments.

  • Hands-on experience with OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulatory compliance.

  • Proven success implementing safety programs that reduce incidents and improve safety performance.

  • Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective/preventive actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage audits, inspections, and regulator interactions.

  • Experience developing and delivering employee safety and compliance training.

  • Exposure to environmental management and sustainability initiatives (waste, water, energy).

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (or 10+ years equivalent experience).

  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.

  • Ability to influence, train, and engage employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Must be located in the Jersey City, NJ surrounding area or willing to relocated for the duration of employment

  • Willingness to work onsite daily in the Tropicana plant in Jersey City, NJ

  • Travel up to 40%
