Job Details
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our real estate and environmental practice in a part-time counsel capacity. This role is well suited for a senior practitioner looking for a flexible schedule while continuing to engage in sophisticated advisory and transactional work.
What You’ll Do:
Advise clients on environmental and land use matters, including permitting, zoning, and regulatory complianceNavigate local and state approval processes and provide strategic guidance on development-related issuesCounsel on environmental risks and liabilities in connection with real estate and business transactionsSupport real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projectsProvide insight on environmental regulatory frameworks, including matters involving federal and state statutes and agency actionsCollaborate with attorneys across transactional practices, including corporate and construction-related matters
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in environmental and real estate lawStrong working knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations and permitting processesExperience advising on land use, zoning, and regulatory strategyFamiliarity with environmental risk assessment in transactional contextsBackground in real estate transactions or development work is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdmission to the Massachusetts Bar required
