Job Description
Job Title: Revenue Cycle Analyst – Epic PB & Coverage Discovery
Overview / Summary Provide support to the Revenue Cycle team through coverage discovery review, patient responsibility analysis, revenue cycle reporting, and communication with clinical and operations leadership. This role focuses on optimizing patient responsibility collections, third-party payments, and coverage-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review coverage discovery for scheduled patient appointments to determine patient responsibility.
- Document coverage appropriately in Epic.
- Identify trends in coverage and point-of-service patient responsibility collections across 88 clinic locations.
- Recommend process changes to optimize collection of patient responsibility revenue and third-party payments.
- Communicate with clinical and operations leadership regarding coverage discovery, patient responsibility, and revenue cycle topics.
Required Qualifications
- Epic PB experience; certification preferred.
- RHIA, RHIT, or CPC certification required.
- Experience with revenue cycle reporting, build, logic, claims adjudication, data, and training.
- Experience working with clearinghouses.
- Experience with third-party coverage discovery.
- Experience with RTE interpretation.
