Equipment Damage Representative

Job Description:

  • Investigation and collection of damages that occurred to a U-Haul rental equipment.

  • Contacting customers who caused damages to their rental and did not purchase or honor the contract terms.

  • Contacting third parties who caused damages to a U-Haul vehicle either on rental or on lot.

  • Filing claims and collecting from insurance carriers for recovery of damages.

  • Establish payment arrangements for those that are uninsured.

  • Consists of very heavy phone work.

  • Candidate will be in constant contact with U-Haul Customers and U-Haul entities.

  • Organizational skills are key to a successful EDU Representative.

Requirements:

  • Collections experience is a plus.

  • Ability to organize and maintain a large pending of claims.

  • Ability to handle Customers/Peers in a professional manner.

  • Microsoft Word/Excel experience.

Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma or higher

  • Full-Time-100% in office
