Job Description

We are seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician at onsemi's 200 mm manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR. You will serve as a technical authority for critical CMP equipment. You will perform advanced preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance; lead complex recoveries and root-cause investigations; and develop sustainable improvements that increase equipment reliability and manufacturing performance. This role requires deep hands-on tool expertise, sound judgment, strong ownership, and the ability to influence and develop other technicians without relying on day-to-day direction.

Candidates must demonstrate a high level of hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting expertise on one or more of the following CMP platforms, with broad working knowledge across the area:

  • Polishers:

  • IPEC/Novellus Polishers these include the Momentum Series and 776 Series Polishers

  • Applied Materials Mirra Polishers.

  • Cleaners:

  • LAM Research Ontrak Cleaner

  • Applied Materials Mesa Cleaner

  • IPEC/Novellus 7700 Series Cleaner

  • Extensive knowledge on Slurry Delivery Systems including

  • Parastaltic

  • Flow Controllers.

  • CDS (Chemical Delivery System)

  • Expert knowledge of air pressured systems and the ability to diagnose and repair air leaks.

  • Major tool subsystems such as vacuum, robotics, process chambers, controls, and interlocks
