Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for operating different machinery needed to build projects. This includes assisting the different trades that we work with when needed. Examples; unloading and loading materials, digging, raking, mixes and pours concrete, work with operating engineers, and other construction site workers.
Primary responsibilities:
- Operating machinery safely and effectively to reach goals.
- Assist in building structures for residential, commercial, and construction sites.
- Assist construction managers.
- Read blueprints and designs.
- Operate laser guidance equipment.
- Operate all tools as needed and requested
- Operate pavement breakers, jackhammers, earth tampers, concrete, mortar, and plaster mixers.
- Demolition as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 -3+ years' experience in commercial/residential construction
- Massachusetts Hoisting license
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Must have tools of your trade
- Verifiable references
- Committed to safety at all times!
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Some overnight travel
