Your Opportunity: Navitor Midwest, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Cutter Operator. The position is responsible for programming cutter equipment to specific measurement requirements for cutting raw and finished materials.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift:

• 1st Shift; Monday- Friday, 6:00am- 2:00pm

• Some overtime may be required dependent on work volumes

Your Responsibilities:

• Customize the mechanics on the equipment to coordinate with the customer's order

• Prioritize work to meet the department needs

• Trouble shoot any potential issues

• Monitor the machine during operation to ensure effective production

• Review the product for exceptional quality

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Respond to various questions and requests from the production area

• Build and maintain relationships between all departments

• Cross train on additional equipment in the area

You Must Have:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and challenging environment

• A team player mindset with a positive attitude

• Has strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to utilize learn computer program for order processing

• Basic math skills

• Ability to distinguish colors

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift

• Ability to lift and/or up to 20-40 pounds on a consistent basis

Requirements within this Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

• Frequently required to move inside the facility

• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16- 21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
