Equipment Operator $1,610+ WEEKLYJoin SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:
- Operating experience on commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Must be able to operate Skid steer, Forklift, Floor scrubber, back hoe, dump trucks
- Strong knowledge of soil types, trench safety, and excavation best practices.
- Must have a valid ID
- Operate related heavy equipment to perform digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material handling.
- Excavate trenches for utilities, foundations, and underground systems according to blueprints, plans, and site specifications.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure excavation aligns with construction requirements.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and in proper working condition.
- Follow all site safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with ground crew activities when not operating equipment to keep project moving efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding site conditions, hazards, and project progress.
