Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ER Tech to join our team for night shifts in Shakopee, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant community known for its rich history and beautiful landscapes. Join us and be part of a supportive team in a state-of-the-art facility.
Shift Details
- Nights: 1900 - 0700
- Patient visits per day: 90-130
- Weekend Requirement: Up to every other weekend
Experience and Certification Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Certifications Required: BLS, EMT, EMT-B, and State License
- Certifications Preferred: PALS, ACLS
- Work Setting Experience Required: Acute Care, Urgent Care, Trauma Level 3, and Teaching
- Work Setting Experience Preferred: Urgent Care, Trauma Level 1, Trauma Level 2, and Children's Hospital
- General Skills Experience Required: Vital signs, 12 lead EKG, AED/Defibrillator, Splinting, Wound Care, Crutch Training
- Patient Care Tech—a minimum of 1 year of ED experience
Education Requirements
- High School or GED required
- Associate's or Vocational degree in a health-related field preferred
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 30 Days
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech- EMT - MN Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board required if working in MN
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech- EMT - WI - Emergency Medical Services required if working in WI
- Medical Terminology preferred
Additional Information
- Is on-call required? No
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? May be floated to another unit to cover an attendant need
- Open to accommodating block schedule? No
- Locals accepted: No. 100 mile radius
- Pending License accepted: Yes
- RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
- Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty
