  • Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) – 3x12-hour shifts
  • Hours/week: 36
  • Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS, EMT, EMT-B, State License required; PALS, ACLS preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER or urgent care experience
Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $26.30 per hour

Pay package discussed upon applicationWhat You’ll Do
  • Deliver high-quality patient care within the ER setting under the supervision of nursing staff
  • Assist with vital signs, 12-lead EKGs, AED/defibrillator use, splinting, and wound care
  • Support emergency procedures including patient stabilization and triage
  • Document patient observations accurately using Epic (Excellian) system
  • Float within scope to meet the facility’s needs, including possible coverage on other units
  • Comply with hospital safety and infection control protocols
  • Participate in a fast-paced environment managing 90-130 patient visits per day
What You NeedRequired:
  • Active BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • Valid EMT license from MN or WI (pending license accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of ER or urgent care experience
  • High School diploma or GED; vocational or associate's degree preferred
  • Skills in vital signs, EKG, AED, splinting, wound care, crutch training
Preferred:
  • PALS, ACLS certifications
  • Experience in trauma level 1 or 2, pediatric or teaching hospital settings
  • Medical terminology knowledge
