ERM Model Risk Analyst

Summary:

The ERM / Model Risk Analyst will support ERM Management and Model Risk teams through a variety of functions related to organizing and maintaining risk governance documents and framework in addition to completing data requests and issue tracking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a centralized inventory of all models and End User Computing used at FB (MRM)
• Prepare Model Risk Management dashboards (MRM)
• Support preparation of documentation to support Annual Risk Appetite Refresh (ERM)
• Assist with preparation of Horizon Risk Working Group dashboards (ERM)
• Track model performance KRIs and prepare appropriate dashboard and risk reporting (MRM)
• Ensure all templates are consistent with model policy and standards (ERM & MRM)
• Utilizing Templates or Workflow Platforms to organize and systematize work (MRM)
• Assist with developing response plans and remediating Audit or Assurance function issues (ERM & MRM)
• Maintain / update model intake submissions (MRM)
• Assist ERM and MRM through meeting attendance, document management, and other assigned administrative tasks.

Education and/or Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or similar. Graduate degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in Risk / Finance
• A background in modeling, data, governance, compliance, audit, and/or banking a plus
• Experience implementing or managing software or data platform transformation projects, User Acceptance Testing, Test Script or Technical Writing preferred.

• Superior written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with particular emphasis on being able to articulate complex topics in a manner digestible to a wide audience.
• Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets.
• Demonstrated self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a highly collaborative team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
• Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment.
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations as applicable to your job duties.
