Help families plan for the future with clarity and care.

Do you enjoy building relationships and being the person clients trust through an important life transition? Triplett & Carothers is seeking a client-focused Estate Planning Paralegal to join our established Louisville firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on personal interaction, stays organized under a busy caseload, and takes pride in exceptional client service.

About the Firm

Triplett & Carothers has served clients throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana since 1990. Our practice focuses on estate planning and probate, guiding individuals and families through complex matters with clarity, compassion, and confidence. We’re built on responsiveness, integrity, efficiency, and genuine care for the people we serve—and we’re proud of the relationships and the meaningful work that come from it.

About the Role

This position centers on client relationships and communication. You’ll be a key point of contact throughout the estate planning process: coordinating signing appointments, working with clients’ other advisors, and making sure every client has a smooth, positive experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and conduct signing appointments for wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the estate planning process
  • Communicate with financial advisors, wealth managers, accountants, and other professionals
  • Schedule meetings and follow-ups, and keep client matters moving on schedule
  • Track matter status and maintain organized, current client files
  • Assist attorneys with document preparation, proofreading, and review
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries with professionalism and warmth

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a law firm, financial services, wealth management, banking, or another professional client-facing role (preferred)
  • Paralegal certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and outside professionals
  • A professional, compassionate, service-oriented approach
  • Estate planning experience is a plus but not required—we’re glad to train the right person

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

  • $48,000–$52,000 annually, commensurate with experience
  • Flexible schedule—hybrid, with two days a week in our Louisville office
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • A stable, supportive work environment
  • The chance to build lasting client relationships and make a real impact

Why Triplett & Carothers?

Clients often come to us during meaningful, emotional moments. We take pride in helping them feel informed, supported, and confident. If you value professionalism and compassion in equal measure and want to be part of a firm that genuinely cares about its clients and its team, we’d love to hear from you.
