Job Description

Offit Kurman is seeking a skilled and experienced Estate Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate and trust litigation and will play a key role in supporting attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process.

Responsibilities:

Support attorneys in all phases of estate and trust litigation, from case inception through resolution
Draft legal documents and court filings; manage case files and organize supporting documentation
Coordinate court dates, track deadlines, and maintain the litigation calendar
Communicate regularly with clients, executors, trustees, and beneficiaries, keeping all parties informed
Serve as a reliable point of contact for client updates and case-related inquiries
Perform additional duties as needed to support the practice

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on estates and trust litigation
Proven ability to draft pleadings and related litigation documents
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently and efficiently
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
Ability to meet a billable target of 1200 hours annually

Salary Range: $120,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
